Insolation Energy Limited has received a letter of award (LOA) by the Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited. The LOA is for empanelment of vendors for design, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning including warranty, comprehensive operation and maintenance of grid-connected rooftop solar plant. The plants will be of varying capacities that have been deployed under the Phase-ll of grid connected rooftop solar scheme of Ministry of New and Renewable Energy in Rajasthan under general category for the Ajmer distribution company.
Insolation Energy, based in Jaipur, Rajasthan is a solar panel manufacturing company. As of now, the company has supplied more than 250 MW solar modules.
Recently in October 2022, Coal India Limited signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Rajasthan Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited for the development of a 1,190 MW solar power project as part of its diversification programme for clean coal energy. The move has been made with an emphasis to produce clean coal and steps are being taken in this direction.
