ANERT calls bids for 2 MW solar projects at MILMA dairy

The Agency for New and Renewable Energy Research and Technology (ANERT) has issued a request for proposals for the installation and commissioning of 2 MW of grid-connected solar projects. The project will be executed at the Kerala Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation Limited (MILMA) dairy in Ernakulam, Kerala. Capital expenditure model will be used to develop the project. The solar power project will include ground-mounted, carport-style, and floating solar installations. The entire area of the project has been divided into four clusters.

The project must be completed within three months of receiving the award letter. The successful bidder will also be responsible for the project’s operation and maintenance for the next five years. The project will be installed as a demonstration.The carport will have a total capacity of 200 kW. Bidders must submit Rs 500,000 as an earnest money deposit. Within 30 days of the project being awarded, the successful bidder must provide performance security in the amount of 3 per cent of the total contract value. The winning bidder must also provide a bank guarantee for Rs 10 million per MW of quoted capacity, which will be returned after the project’s commercial operation date.

The metering and grid connectivity for solar projects will be the responsibility of the bidder. The solar modules used in the project must be manufactured in India and come from the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy’s Approved List of Models and Manufacturers. The bid submission deadline is October 29, 2022.
