Inox Wind announced that Inox Green Energy Services Limited (IGESL) has sold its full equity stake in three special purpose vehicles (SPV) to Adani Green Energy. IGESL will provide these projects with long-term operations and maintenance services.
Inox Wind had supplied, erected, and commissioned 25 units of its advanced 2 MW wind turbine generators as part of each 50 MW project through its SPVs. Inox Wind won 250 MW in the SECI Tranche 1 auction for sale to PTC India at a fixed tariff of Rs 3.46 per unit for 25 years.
Recently in September 2022, Inox Wind’s 3.3 MW wind project was successfully commissioned in Ranparda village, Rajkot district. The developed turbine has a 100-metre tubular tower and 146-metre rotor blades. In terms of size, capacity, and competitiveness, the turbine has been specifically designed for the Indian low wind region.
