Amp Energy India and Ohmium International have announced a collaboration for mid-sized commercial and industrial (C&I) projects of 25 MW or smaller capacities. The projects, with a total capacity of 400 MW, are planned to be installed over the period of next three years. This collaboration with Ohmium will help Amp Energy to use Ohmium’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in India to extend its business offerings to customers.
Amp Energy India, headquartered in New Delhi has a total portfolio of more than 2 GW and spans across 15 states in the country. The company has a balanced portfolio of C&I and utility customers which enables them to provide clean and green energy solutions.
Recently in September 2022, Amp Energy India entered into a power purchase agreement with Amazon to sell renewable energy generated by a 100 MW solar power plant in Rajasthan. The plant is expected to be fully operational by the end of the year 2023. It will be located at Bhadla, Rajasthan where Amp Energy is also developing 1 GW of utility-scale projects.
