Inox Wind commissions 3.3 MW project in Rajkot

Inox Wind’s 3.3 MW wind project has been successfully commissioned in Ranparda village, Rajkot district. The developed turbine has a 100-metre tubular tower and 146-metre rotor blades. In terms of size, capacity, and competitiveness, the turbine has been specifically designed for the Indian low wind region.

Inox Wind is a wind energy solutions provider servicing independent power producers, utilities, PSUs, corporates and retail investors. The company has three state-of-the-art manufacturing plants in Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh with a cumulative manufacturing capacity of 1,600 MW.

Recently in August 2022, Inox Wind’s board approved to raise up to Rs 8 billion by issuing 0.01 per cent non-convertible non-cumulative participating redeemable preference shares of face value Rs 10. It is fully paid up for cash consideration, on private placement basis, in accordance with the applicable laws and subject to appropriate sanctions, permissions and approvals including shareholders’ approval and statutory and regulatory approvals.
