Servotech Power Systems, a provider of clean energy solutions has won a 1.8 MW offgrid solar project worth Rs 300 million from the Uttar Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA). The company will take on key responsibilities such as empanelling and rate contracts for the design, manufacturing, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of offgrid solar plants across Uttar Pradesh.
Servotech will also provide comprehensive warranty maintenance for the next five years, focusing on various 1-10 kW and 11-50 kW offgrid solar PV installations across the state. This is the company’s second major project from UPNEDA.
Recently in September 2022, UPNEDA issued a request for proposals for the turnkey design, supply, installation, and commissioning of 25 solar cold storage units. The bidders will be required to submit an earnest money deposit equivalent to 1 per cent of the estimated contract value. The successful bidder will be required to provide security in the form of a bank guarantee valid for 18 months from the date of agreement execution equal to 3 per cent of the contract’s total value.
