AGEL completes 325 MW wind plant in Madhya Pradesh

Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has commissioned a 325 MW wind energy plant in Madhya Pradesh’s Dhar district. With the implementation of this plant, the operational production capacity of the company has reached 6.1 GW. The plant will be supervised by the Adani Group’s Energy Network Operation Centre that will help in providing technological assistance.

The plant has two 25-year power purchase agreements with the Solar Energy Corporation of India, 274.4 MW and 50 MW, both priced at Rs 2.83 per kWh. AGEL has a total renewable energy portfolio of 20.4 GW, which includes operational, under-construction, awarded, and assets under acquisition for investment-grade counterparties.

Recently in May 2022, AGEL commissioned a 390 MW wind-solar hybrid power generation project. As per the company’s statement, Adani Green’s subsidiary Adani Hybrid Energy Jaisalmer One Limited commissioned the said project in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. The project, when it was awarded, was expected to have 360 MW of solar and 100 MW of wind energy.
