Tata Power has successfully set up more than 450 of its EZ charging points at over 350 national highways in India. Tata Power EZ charging points are located across major national highways including the longest highway NH 44, connecting Jammu and Kashmir to Tamil Nadu. Also, the busiest highway NH 19, connecting Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal, and Jharkhand. Other highways like NH 65, NH 48, NH 16 that connect major states across south, north, east and west India are also deployed with charging points. This is in line with the company’s nationwide agenda of setting up charging points.
Tata Power has also established a Network Operations Centre (NOC) for the effective operational management of charging points deployed across India. The NOC serves as the foundation for reliable charging support. The centre is linked with real time for all board chargers and is integrated with Tata Power’s digital platform that supports electric vehicle (EV) charging services.
Recently in August 2022, Tata Power and JP Infra Mumbai Private Limited collaborated to install more than 60 EV charging points across all JP Infra’s projects in Mumbai especially JP North Garden City, North Aviva, Codename Dream Home, North Barcelona, and North Imperia.
