IOCL requests for consultants for 2.25 MW solar project

The Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has requested bids from consultants to provide project management consultancy services for the installation of a 2.25 MW grid-connected ground-mounted solar power project at its liquefied petroleum gas bottling plant in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. Bids must be submitted by September 24, 2022. The anticipated cost of the project is Rs 2.006 million. Also, no earnest money deposit is required for participation in this tender.

The chosen bidder is required to provide a security deposit equal to 3 percent of the cost of the work order. The consultant will be hired by the IOCL for a period of up to 12 months after the solar power project is completed. IOCL will be assisted in managing the proposed 2.25 MW solar project by the project management consultant. The deadline for bid submission is October 1, 2022.

Recently in August 2022, IOCL floated bids for the purchase of 50 acres of land in Odisha for a 10 MW solar power project. According to tender guidelines, bidders must submit Rs 50,000 as an earnest money deposit. The property must be located within 10 kilometres of Odisha Power Transmission Corporation substation and the land must be free of all impediments.
