Aditya Birla Group has awarded KP Energy, a Rs 2.22 billion contract to develop wind energy projects. The project will be established at the Bhungar and Fulsar site in Mahuva, Bhavnagar, Gujarat in accordance with the 2018 Gujarat Hybrid Power Policy.
KP Energy will be responsible for providing the project with a turnkey balance of plant solution. The responsibilities will include wind site locations, obtaining necessary approvals and development permits, wind data management, wind farm development, electrical line network, and complete power evacuation capacity from the pooling substation to the Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation’s substation.
Parties have executed definitive contracts for the project’s development with Aditya Birla Renewables Solar Limited and AB REL Solar Power Limited and will continue to execute contracts for the projects’ phase-wise development.
