ICAT sign MoU with NorthCap University for emerging technologies especially in EVs

The International Centre for Automotive Technology (ICAT) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Northcap University (NCU). The collaboration aims to strengthen the industry-academia partnership by conducting joint short-term and mid-term courses. Also, it emphasises research in the field of electric vehicles (EV) and related emerging technology areas in accordance with industry requirements. The MoU intends to look forward to a long-term relationship for industry skill development through collaboration in the emerging field of electric mobility, as well as skilling up ICAT resources.

ICAT has been situated in Manesar since 1996 and is a division of NATRiP (NAB) Implementation Society (NATIS) under the Ministry of Heavy Industries. It is one of the independent testing agencies recognised by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Government of India under the Central Motor Vehicle Rules for testing and certification of automobiles and their critical safety components. On the other hand, NCU was founded in Gurugram in the year of 1996.
