Natural Battery Technologies has announced the launch of lithium-ion (Li-ion)-based inverter batteries for residential and commercial use that also double up as solar energy storage systems. Lithium ferro phosphate is used as the cathode material in the batteries. Reportedly, the manufacturer provides batteries with storage capacities ranging from 1.5 kWh to 20 kWh, but it can also provide other sizes as per customer requirements. In order to accommodate the requirements of low-scale applications, the operating voltage can be 12 V, 24 V or 48 V. It can go up further in case of bigger storage systems. The batteries offer consistent output ranging from 1 kVA to 50 kVA, which makes them ideal for use as uninterrupted power supply systems.
