Rays Power inaugurates 150 MW solar plant in Karnataka

Rays Power Infra, a Haryana-based solar power company, has announced the opening of a 150 MW solar project (grid-connected) in Raichur and Koppal, Karnataka. Reportedly, the project will produce about 240,000 MW of green energy annually. In order to meet the electricity needs of customers in India and overseas, the company also states that it has started the implementation of 500 MWp solar park, with commissioning anticipated in the next nine months.

In December 2021, Rays Power Infra signed a MoU with the Rajasthan government for constructing a solar power plant for generating 500 MW of green electricity. At the ongoing Dubai Expo, the parties finalised the agreement to reduce traditional electricity consumption derived from non-renewable sources.
