BPCL floats bids to hire a contractor for 14 MW solar project

Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL) is looking for a contractor to establish a 14 MW grid-connected solar power project at its Bina Refinery in Madhya Pradesh on a turnkey basis. The range of work in the project includes procurement, fabrication, inspection, transportation, erection, installation, construction, residual engineering, detailed engineering, and testing. Bidders need to submit Rs 500,000 as earnest money deposit.

According to the tender guidelines,the project must be commissioned within 180 days of the work order. The selected contractor must provide comprehensive operation and maintenance for a period of three years.Slnko Energy has been enlisted by BPCL to provide project management services for this project. Slnko will prepare the tender, conduct technical and commercial bid evaluations, seek clarification from bidders, and finalise recommendations to hire a contractor for the job.

In June 2022, BPCL floated bids to establish a 5 MW electrolyser and associated system. This entire system is to be used for the production of green hydrogen and blending of hydrogen with natural gas in the city gas distribution network.
