Triton Electric Vehicle to manufacture hydrogen fuelled EVs in Gujarat

Triton Electric Vehicle, based in New Jersey plans to manufacture electric cars in India and will also produce hydrogen-powered two- and three-wheeler electric vehicles (EVs) from its Gujarat plant. The company plans to enter the hydrogen-powered two-wheeler and three-wheeler segments. It will also be exporting these two-wheelers and three-wheelers from India. Further, it plans to start producing EV trucks this year at its Bhuj facility in Gujarat.

Triton has already developed its comprehensive research and development centre (R&D) facility in Gujarat’s Anand District, where it will work on developing electric vehicles. The company is in conversations with a few Indian states about establishing a well-equipped EV car manufacturing base in India, complete with advanced technologies and cutting-edge infrastructure.
