Haryana call bids for 26.43 MW solar projects

Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam has requested bids for the establishment of 26.43 MW of decentralised grid-connected ground-mounted or stilt-mounted solar projects. The Haryana government intends to install 10,000 MW of grid-connected solar power plants with individual project sizes of up to 2 MW under Component A of the PM-KUSUM program. The projects will be designed and deployed within a 5 km radius of the substations under Component A of the PM-KUSUM initiative.

According to the tender guidelines, bidders are required to submit an earnest money deposit of Rs 100,000 per MW. The electricity generated by solar power projects will be purchased by the Haryana Power Purchase Center at a predetermined levelised price of Rs 3.11 per kWh. If bidders are unable to raise the necessary funds, they may establish the projects through a land leasing agreement signed by a developer. The selected solar generator must complete the solar power project within 12 months of receiving the letter of grant. The bid submission deadline is July 26, 2022.

In June 2022, Haryana Power Generation Corporation Limited invited bids to install 121 MW of grid-connected solar power projects. The projects shall be located across three locations – Faridabad, Panipat, and Yamuna Nagar.
