This project will be constructed in the state of Maharashtra. The bid submission deadline is July 29, 2022. The solar developer will be responsible for the project’s design, financing, acquisition of land, engineering, procurement, construction, and operations and maintenance.
In June 2022, MSEDCL issued a request for proposals for the long-term procurement of power from 500 MW of intrastate grid-connected solar power projects (Phase-VII). In May 2022, MSEDCL issued a request for proposals for 325 MW of power from intrastate wind projects. MSEDCL set a ceiling tariff of Rs 2.65 per kWh for the tender. MSEDCL will enter into a power purchase agreement (PPA) with the bidders to purchase wind power for 12 years from the execution of the PPA or the date of expiry of the energy purchase agreement for the existing wind power projects.
