
Jakson Group has announced the establishment of its new division Jakson Green. This new segment has been developed to focus on new and emerging areas in the renewable energy sector like green hydrogen, ammonia, waste to energy, electrolysers, fuel cells, utility-scale battery energy storage systems, solar, and related operations and maintenance services.
Jakson Group was incorporated in 1947 and has expanded into diesel generators, solar project planning, engineering, solar module manufacturing, procurement, and construction services. It also manufactures battery storage solutions.
In June 2021, the company commissioned 50 MWp Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Solar Power Plant Project Blitta Village in Togo. The solar power project has been developed by AMEA Power, Dubai and was designed, installed, commissioned, and executed by Jakson Group. The plant will supply power to nearly 600,000 households as well as 700 small and medium enterprises in the region.
