ANERT invites bids for 20 MW of rooftop solar systems in Kerala

The Agency for New and Renewable Energy Research and Technology (ANERT) has invited bids for the design, supply, installation, and commissioning of 20 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar systems. The individual capacities of the systems will range from 2 kW to 30 kW. Only solar modules listed on the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy’s Approved List of Models and Manufacturers will be used for the project. The bid submission deadline is July 11, 2022.

In July 2022, Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited floated a tender to set up 20 MW of grid–connected rooftop solar systems across its stations and depot buildings. The rooftop solar projects will be set up under the renewable energy service company model. In the same month, the Maharashtra Energy Development Agency released an expression of interest to estimate tariffs for the deployment of 10 MW grid-connected rooftop solar photovoltaic systems. The rooftop solar projects will be installed on buildings of government institutions and offices across the state with a range between 10 kW to 500 kW.
