Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (MPUVNL) has called for bids to install 35 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar systems. These projects have to be set up under the renewable energy service company model across various locations in the state. The final date to submit the bids online is July 13, 2022. The successful bidder will be responsible operations and maintenance of the project for 25 years and the projects’ metering and grid connectivity would be his responsibility.
In May 2022, MPUVNL requested bids for 1,250 MW of grid-connected solar power projects at various locations in Madhya Pradesh under Component C of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthan Mahabhiyan (KUSUM) programme. The power from the projects will be procured by the Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company Limited.
Prior to this, MPUVNL issued a request for proposal for the standardisation of rates and selection of contractors to design, engineer, supply, install, test, and commission grid-connected rooftop solar systems with or without energy storage, as well as off-grid rooftop solar systems with energy storage, totalling about 11 MW in Madhya Pradesh.
