HPCL issues consultancy tender for hybrid project with storage

Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) has issued a tender to select consultants for a feasibility study for a hybrid project. The said project involves establishing a 100-150 MW wind-solar hybrid project with a battery energy storage system (BESS) on vacant land for captive use in Andhra Pradesh. The last date for submitting bids is July 13, 2022.

Within 15 days from the purchase order issuance, a detailed draft report needs to be submitted and the final feasibility report has to be submitted within seven days after the purchase order issuance. A vacant land at Anantpuram Solar Park in Andhra Pradesh is available for project development. For being eligible for this project, the bidder must have successfully completed similar projects with a minimum capacity of 50 MW in India during the last seven years.

Recently, HPCL issued a tender for installing 2.39 MW of ground-mounted and rooftop solar systems across 13 HPCL locations in country. The deadline for submission of bids is June 30, 2022. The grid-interactive solar project will be connected to local utility under net metering agreement.
