Rajasthan Electronics and Instruments (REIL) has invited bids for the survey, planning, supply, installation, and commissioning of 409 electric vehicle (EV) chargers. The tender will cater to nine cities, three national highways and one expressway. As per the tender, the EV chargers to be installed are required to have an onsite warranty for three years.
An earnest money depositor Rs 12.5 million for 122 KW chargers and Rs 0.6 million for CCS-2 100 kW chargers is to be submitted by the bidders. They are also required to submit an amount equivalent to 3 per cent of the contract value as a security deposit. The bid submission deadline is July 13, 2022.
The tender also states that bidders must possess technology rights for the products offered. They are required to supply an armored copper cable of 95 sq. mm, 3.5 core of length 10 m per charger for power. After commissioning, live testing for all the chargers will be conducted with a compatible EV. The project’s overall estimated cost is Rs 520 million and is expected to be commissioned within one week from the date of intimation.
In May 2022, REIL issued a request for proposals for 180,000 monocrystalline or multicrystalline solar cells with a capacity of 5.64 W. The estimated value of the bid is Rs 9 million. In February 2022, REIL issued a request for proposals for the delivery of 200,000 monocrystalline or multicrystalline solar cells with a wattage output higher than or equal to 4.62W.
