Contributing to Montenegro’s commitment to integrating climate change risks into planning, the Honorary Consulate General of Montenegro in India, has become the first consulate to have a 10 KWp elevated tilted solar generating system. The installed solar solution is from Home Scape by Amplus Solar, Asia’s leading distributed solar company. It is part of an MoU between HomeScapeby Amplus Solarand the consulate that emphasizes on taking collaborative action towards limiting climate change hazards in the EU region.
Speaking about the commissioning, CEO, Distributed Generation, Mr Anil Bhat, said, “With this commissioning, HomeScape by Amplus Solar reiterates its commitment to India’s growing renewable energy generation. This is an important project for us as it marks the start of a lasting association for more solar prospects in the EU region. I am delighted that our team could complete the installation with utmost safety standards and within the stipulated time. I would also like to thank BSES (Bombay Suburban Electric Supply) for their immense support in expediting the documentation across the project tenure”.
The two–metre, Terra–galvanized, steel–reinforced and grid-connected solar plant has been designed for standard RCC rooftops. It uses 535Wpmonocrystalline solar modules by Adani Power which grants a 25-year performance warranty. In addition, the plant has been installed with a cloud-based computing system that helps enhance its efficiency.
