FuturaSun has unveiled a new range of its monocrystalline multi-busbar modules SILK® with the Plus All Black series. The SILK® Plus ALL BLACK has been designed for residential and commercial installations. It combines the high performance of the SILK® Plus series with a one-of-a-kind monochrome design that satisfies the demands of high architectural value. The new PV module features passivated emitter and rear contact (PERC) cells, half-cut cell modules based on M10 wafers with a size of 182 mm. The dimensions of the module are 1,722 mm x 1,134 mm. They weigh 20.8 kg. Their configuration with 108 half-cut cells helps reach a power output of 405 Wp and an efficiency of up to 20.74 per cent. The module consists of two independent sections so as to allow higher yields even in case of shading or dirt on the surface. They are backed by a 25-year performance warranty. The DEKRA body reportedly awarded the new SILK® Plus All Black series the Class C classification for reaction to fire, as well as the IEC 61215, IEC61730 and factory inspection certificates for reliability and quality.
