NTPC floats BoS tender for 1,255 MW of solar projects in Gujarat

NTPC Renewable Energy (NTPC Renewables) has issued a request for proposals for a balance of system (BoS) package for solar projects totaling 1,255 MW (3*315 MW+1*310 MW) in the Khavda Renewable Park in Gujarat’s Kutch area. The scope of work comprises the design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, packing and forwarding, transportation, unloading, storage, installation, testing, and commissioning of the solar power projects, excluding the supply of solar modules. The bid submission deadline is July 6, 2022. 

As per the tender guidelines, the bidders must submit a bid security deposit of Rs 100 million for one block of 315 MW and Rs 200 million for two or more blocks of 315 MW each. As an engineering, procurement, and construction contractor or developer, the bidder must have designed, supplied, constructed, and commissioned the balance of the system of grid-connected solar power projects with a cumulative installed capacity of 40 MW or greater. At least one project should have had a capacity of 10 MW or more. The reference project, with a capacity of 10 MW or more, must have been operational for at least six months previous to the bid opening.

Under the Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of Hybrid and Electric Vehicles (FAME II) programme, NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam has issued a request for proposals for the supply of electric vehicle chargers for public charging infrastructure in cities. The scope of work comprises manufacturing or sourcing, testing, inspection, supply, installation, and commissioning of 1,670 EV chargers in 267 charging stations in Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The bid submission deadline is June 8, 2022.
