CLUV floats a consultancy tender for 44 MW of solar projects

Coal Lignite Urja Vikas (CLUV), a joint venture between Coal India Limited (CIL) and NLC India, has requested proposals for project management consultancy services for the development of 40 MW of solar projects in the Surajpur region of Chhattisgarh. The winning bidder will also be responsible for the project’s operation and maintenance (O&M) for the next ten years. As per the tender guidelines to participate in the bidding process, bidders must submit an earnest money deposit of Rs 313,000. The bid submission deadline is May 24, 2022.

In September 2021, CLUV had issued a tender to set up 40 MW of ground-mounted grid-connected solar projects for South Eastern Coalfields at Bishrampur and Bhatgaon in the Surajpur district of Chhattisgarh. The engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) and O&M contracts for ten years were awarded to BVG India, Pune. The bidder should have completed one similar project of 80 per cent of the estimated total capacity, or two similar projects of 50 per cent of the estimated total capacity, or three similar projects of 40 per cent of the estimated total capacity in the last seven years.

Earlier this month, NLC India Limited issued a tender for a 100 MW inter-state transmission system (ISTS)-connected solar power project with operations and maintenance for a period of three years. The bid submission deadline is June 6, 2022.
