Nextracker launches a new tracker for uneven terrain

Nextracker has launched its NX HorizonXTR tracker, a single-axis tracker designed to expand the addressable market of solar power on sites with sloping, uneven and challenging terrain. Trackers must be built in “straight-line rows”,
which requires lengthening of foundation piles, grading or a combination of both, when a solar park is located on
undulating terrain. The Horizon-XTR is designed to follow the natural curves of existing ground and does not require
installation in a single plane, thus decreasing foundation pile length and grading. Solar panels at utility-scale power facilities can now track the sun’s movement across the sky and improve plant performance.
