THDCIL signs MoU with RECL to develop 10,000 MW solar projects

Tehri Hydro Development Corporation India Limited (THDCIL) has signed a MoU with Renewable Energy Corporation Limited (RECL) for the development of large solar power projects with a total capacity of 10,000 MW in Rajasthan. Under the agreement, 5 solar parks of 2000 MW each will be constructed in five different cities of Rajasthan. The project will be completed in five years at a cost of Rs 400 billion.
