ATUM Charge commissions 250 universal EV stations in India

ATUM Charge, a solar-powered electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions provider, has installed 250 universal EV charging stations in India. In Telangana 48 EV charging stations were installed followed by 44 across Tamil Nadu. The company has installed 36 charging stations in Maharashtra, 23 in Andhra Pradesh, 23 in Karnataka, 15 in Uttar Pradesh, 14 in Haryana, 24 in Odisha, and 23 in West Bengal.

Reportedly, these locations have been chosen with the company’s strategy of focusing on Tier 1 and Tier 2 towns and cities in mind, as well as the encouraging rate of EV adoption in these states. Currently, the company has 4 kW capacity panels installed, which can charge up to 10-12 vehicles (2/3/4 wheelers) every day. It will soon add another 6 kW of power, allowing it to charge 25 to 30 automobiles every day.
