LuxpowerTek has unveiled a new hybrid inverter, LXP 8-12 kW, for residential and commercial applications. The transformer-less inverter is available in four power classes ranging from 7.6 kW to 12 kW, with a DC input voltage range of 100 V to 600 V. The hybrid inverter weighs 38 kg and measures 650 x 440 x 220 mm. The device features a temperature range of -25 °C to 60 °C, and comes with smart fan cooling and IP65 protection. It can function at a height of up to 2,000 metres. The device is said to be capable of replacing diesel generators or providing backup power. It works with lithium-ion batteries, which have a nominal voltage of up to 48 Volts and a voltage range of 40-60 Volts. The new product is suitable for use in both grid-connected and off-grid photovoltaic systems.
