SECI floats an EPC tender for 44 MW of solar projects in Telangana

The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has floated an EPC tender for the development of 44 MW of solar projects at Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) in Telangana, as well as 10 years of O&M.

The scope of work comprises a tender for the design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing, and commissioning of a 44 MW (AC) ground-based solar PV power plant at various locations, as well as 10 years of plant operation and maintenance at Singareni collieries company limited in Telangana, India. The bid submission deadline is May 17, 2022. As per the tender guidelines, the bidder should have experience in EPC execution of ground mounted solar projects on turnkey basis of grid connected Solar PV power plant of cumulative capacity not less than 22 MW in the last 7 financial years as on last date of bid submission.

In March 2022,  SECI issued a request for proposals for the design, engineering, construction, erection, testing, and commissioning of a 5 MW grid-connected saffron-based agro solar power plant in Jammu & Kashmir’s Pulwama area. The winning bidder would also be responsible for the project’s operations and maintenance for ten years.
