
Tata Power and the Rustomjee Group have joined forces to install electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure at the latter’s commercial and residential projects around Mumbai. According to the company’s statement, it has teamed up with Rustomjee Group to provide end-to-end EV charging solutions across all of its residential and commercial projects in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR). As part of this agreement, Tata Power will install a dedicated charging infrastructure for residents of Rustomjee in Mumbai MMR.
Earlier this month, Tata Power teamed up with Enviro, the facility management arm of NCR-based real estate developer Vatika Group, to construct 59 electric EV charging stations across its Gurugram facilities. The EV chargers will be deployed at 18 locations around the Vatika Group’s Gurugram properties. Depending on the nature of the premises, these chargers will be available as public charging stations or semi-public charging stations.
In February 2022, Tata Power joined forces with RWE Renewable GmbH of Germany to explore the potential for a joint development of offshore wind projects in India. According to the reports, the MoU between Tata Power Renewable Energy and RWE is relevant in light of the Indian government’s announcement that 30 GW of offshore wind projects will be installed by 2030 to address the country’s expanding power demands.
