Jinko Solar has launched its new product line, the Tiger Neo modules series, featuring N-type TOPCon technology. The product comes with further enhancements in performance, power, energy density and reliability. Tiger Neo has the capacity to deliver 5-6 per cent more efficiency and 3-4 per cent more energy generation than mono PERC. Tiger Neo modules are mass produced from 182 mm wafers. They feature multi busbar (MBB) and half-cut cell technology to reduce internal resistance loss. They also have a circular solder strip design that boosts optical gain for an ultra-high efficiency of up to 22.3 per cent. The new module also has a lower temperature coefficient of -0.30 per cent per degree Celsius compared with -0.35 per cent per degree Celsius for the P-type, making it more robust in high temperature settings. As per a company statement, Jinko Solar provides a 30-year linear power output warranty. The degradation in the first year is said to be less than 1 per cent, and after 30 years, the power output is guaranteed to be no less than 87.4 per cent of the nominal power output.
