Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (JdVVNL) has issued two tenders for the solarization of 17 agricultural feeders of the Nosar and the Dera substation in the Jodhpur district of Rajasthan.
In the first tender, JdVVNL has invited bids for the design, supply, testing, installation, and commissioning of 8.57 MW of solar power projects and the associated 33 kV line. Under Component C of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthan Mahabhiyan (PM-KUSUM) initiative, the tender is for the solarization of 12 agricultural feeders at the Nosar substation in the Jodhpur district of Rajasthan. The projects will be developed for 262 agricultural consumers. The project’s estimated cost is Rs 299.95 million. The projects will be developed under the renewable energy service company (RESCO) model. The successful bidder will be responsible for operation and maintenance activities of the project for a period of 25 years. The bid submission deadline is January 25, 2022.
In the second tender, JdVVNL has invited bids to solarize five 11 kV feeders at the Dera substation in the Jodhpur district of Rajasthan. The cumulative capacity of projects to be developed under Component C of the KUSUM program is 3.45 MW. The projects will be developed for 188 agricultural consumers. The project’s estimated cost is Rs 120.75 million. The bid submission deadline is January 25, 2022.
As per the tender guidelines, to be eligible, the bidder should have experience installing and commissioning solar power projects with a cumulative capacity of 2 MW with a minimum capacity of 100 kW or more during the last five years. Moreover, for electrical work in Rajasthan, the bidder must hold a Class A/B electrical contractor license. The projects must be completed within nine months of the power purchase agreement being signed.
