
The City and Industrial Development Corporation of Maharashtra (CIDCO) has issued a request for proposals for consultancy services to develop feasibility and comprehensive project reports, as well as bid documents, for the implementation of solar power projects on its premises. The bid submission deadline is November 29, 2021.
Railway stations, parking lots, metro stations, CIDCO office buildings, exhibition centres, skywalks, sewage and water treatment plants, roads and foot over bridges, public stadiums, lakes, and water bodies will all be harbour solar projects. The goal of the project is to discover the solar potential at CIDCO’s facilities and bring agencies on board to implement it on the ground.
CIDCO is the planning and development organisation based in Navi Mumbai. The Maharashtra government has designated CIDCO as the special planning authority for the Navi Mumbai Airport Influence Notified Area, which spans 561 square km and includes 256 villages in Raigad and 14 villages in Thane, as well as a 103-hectare specified area in Palghar.
As per the tender guidelines, to be eligible for the bidding process, the bidders will have to furnish Rs 200,000 as an earnest money deposit. The winning bidder must provide a performance guarantee in the amount of 10 per cent of the contract value in the form of a bank guarantee within 30 days of receiving notification of award.
