The Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (MPUVNL) has issued a request for proposals from developers to install and commission 18 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar projects at various locations across the state using the renewable energy service company (RESCO) model. The scope of work comprises designing, engineering, finance, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of various capacities of the project with comprehensive operations and maintenance for 25 years. The bid submission deadline is December 6, 2021. The projects will be set up under two categories: grid-connected net-metered systems and grid-connected systems for consumption within premises with no export of power.
As per the tender guidelines, to participate in the bidding process, the bidder must have a net worth of Rs 8 million per MW or an average annual turnover of Rs 24 million per MW for the project group during the last five years. The winning bidder will have to furnish an amount of Rs 1.9 million per MW as a performance bank guarantee which should be valid for 14 months from the date of the execution of the power purchase agreement.
In April 2021, MPUVNL invited bids to select solar developers to implement 41 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar projects at various locations across Madhya Pradesh. The projects would be developed under the RESCO model. According to tender document, the scope of work comprised the design, engineering, supply, financing, installation, testing, and commissioning of 41 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar projects in the state, along with comprehensive maintenance for 25 years.
