WPD and Levanta to co-develop a 103.5 MW wind project in Vietnam

WPD, has entered the Vietnamese market with a deal to co-develop the 103.5 MW KonPlông onshore wind farm in the country’s central highlands. It will collaborate with Singaporean developer Levanta Renewables to build the project. The company is also planning to extend its project pipeline in the region. The project is in Kon Tum province, approximately 780 km southeast of Hanoi, and close to the western border with Laos and Cambodia. WPD expects construction to begin in 2022.
