Legendre Energie to construct 50 MWp solar power plant in Mali

Legendre Energie has signed a 25-year concession contract with the Malian Ministry of Economy and Finance and Energy for the Fana solar power project. The solar project will be built under the build-own-operate-and-transfer model. The plant will have a capacity of 50 MWp. The facility is expected to be operational in 2023. The power from the plant will be supplied to the state-owned Électricité du Mali (EDM) grid via the EDM substation at Fana (150 kV). The total cost of the project is estimated at Euro 50 million.
