The Jharkhand Renewable Energy Development Agency (JREDA) has invited bids for 6 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar projects on government buildings in the state. The scope of work includes the design, manufacture, testing, installation, and commissioning of the rooftop solar project. The cost of the project is estimated to be Rs 400 million, and it is expected to be completed within four months.
To participate in the bidding process, the bidder’s minimum average annual turnover should be at least 25 per cent of the bid capacity during the last three financial years. For micro and small enterprises (MSEs) of Jharkhand, the bidder’s average annual turnover should be 10 per cent of the bid capacity during the last three financial years. The bidder is required to have a positive net worth of at least 10 per cent of the bid capacity as of the previous financial year. For MSEs, the bidder should have a positive net worth of at least 5 per cent of the bid capacity as on the last day of the previous financial year. An earnest money deposit (EMD) of Rs 208,000 is also to be submitted for the lot size of 100 kW of rooftop solar power project. MSEs have been exempted from paying the EMD.
The successful bidder is required to submit 10 per cent of the allotted work order value as a security deposit within 15 days from the issuance of the work order. The winning bidder will also have to maintain the project for five years. The last date for bids submission is September 20, 2021.
