Central Electronics Limited (CEL) has invited expressions of interest (EoI) to empanel engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractors to develop 200 MW of solar projects across India. The public sector enterprise proposes to install ground-mounted solar power generating systems with capacities ranging from 2 MW to 10 MW with a total capacity of 200 MW. The bid submission deadline is September 10, 2021.
The successful bidder must pay Rs 300,000 as a security deposit for empanelment with CEL. The security deposit will be reimbursed after 15 months with no adjustments made. As per the tender, to be eligible, the bidder should have designed, supplied, installed, and commissioned a cumulative capacity of 5 MW of grid-connected solar power projects for any government agency or public sector undertaking or any company listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) or National Stock Exchange (NSE) in the last five years.
Earlier this month, CEL had also floated a tender for the supply of 2,000 monocrystalline passivated emitter and rear cell (PERC) solar cells with an output of 5.67W or above. Anhui Uzon Photovoltaic Company, Nanjing First Energy Company, Nice Sun PV Company, Zhejiang Sunflower Light Energy Science and Technology Company, China Forma Group, Yingfa Solar Company, and Lishui Zhanxin Import and Export Company are among the approved vendors.
