NHPC Limited has floated a tender for engineering, procurement, and construction of a 100 MW floating solar photovoltaic project in Odisha. The winning bidder will also be responsible for the project’s operations and maintenance (O&M) for a period of ten years.
According to the tender guidelines, the successful bidder must have designed, delivered, and installed grid-connected solar power projects with a total installed capacity of at least 40 MW with at least one project of 10 MW or greater capacity. In addition, the bidder should have expertise in the O&M of at least one 10 MW solar project for at least 6months in the past five years. The bid submission deadline is October 7, 2021.
