Sweden-based Azelio has announced a collaboration with MMR Constructors, a US-based electrical contractor, to install 250 MWh of energy storage capacity by 2027. The two companies have signed an MoU outlining the collaborative endeavour, with small-scale installations set to begin in 2022. The collaborative initiatives will make use of Azelio’s TES POD, a long-duration energy storage technology that stores electricity in recycled aluminium.
