Amplus Solar acquires 17 rooftop solar projects from Sterling and Wilson

Amplus Solar has announced the acquisition of 17 on-site operational solar projects from Sterling and Wilson Private Limited. The cumulative capacity of these projects is 7.2 MWp and they are spread over Haryana, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Telangana and Karnataka. These projects have been supplying solar power to 13 industrial, commercial, and institutional customers.

Prior to this, Amplus had acquired 100 MW of solar assets from ACME Solar. The 100 MW solar power capacity is located in Karnataka’s Pavagada Solar Park and was developed under the National Solar Mission with a tariff of Rs 4.79 per kWh. The capacity was commissioned in 2018.The deal has been reported to be valued at around Rs 8 billion.
