EDF Renouvelables starts a crowdfunding campaign to develop a wind farm in France

EDF Renouvelables has started a crowdfunding campaign to raise funds for constructing the 14.1 MW Telegraph wind farm in Vermenton, France. A total amount of Euro 200,000 is planned to be raised through the campaign, in which the local population in the region can invest from January 5, 2021 to February 15, 2021. EDF Renouvelables aims to partially finance the construction of the Télégraphe wind farm through this round of fundraising and make the local citizens players in the region’s energy transition. The installation of the wind farm began in January 2020 and it is likely to become operational in April 2021.
