AVVNL invites bids to solarise 29 agricultural feeders under the PM-KUSUM scheme

Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (AVVNL) has floated a tender for the development of distributed grid-connected solar systems under Component C of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthan Mahabhiyan (PM-KUSUM) programme. As per the tender document, 479 distributed solar systems would be installed at 29 select feeders in the AVVNL network on a turnkey basis. Further, the development will take place in two lots. Under the first lot, 28 agricultural feeders will be set up in Bhilwara, Chittorgarh and Rajsamand at an estimated cost of Rs 65.6 million. Under lot two, one agricultural feeder will be solarised for an estimated cost of Rs 62.8 million. In addition to providing comprehensive maintenance services, developers will be responsible for the design, survey, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the distributed solar systems. The work must be completed within nine months from the date of issue of letter of approval. The deadline for the submission of bids was January 21, 2021.
