MePDCL floats a tender for developing 50 MW of off-grid rooftop solar projects

Meghalaya Power Distribution Corporation Limited (MePDCL) has floated a tender for the development of 50 MW of off-grid rooftop solar power projects in sites across Meghalaya. The scope of work includes the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of SPV power plants with all accessories and equipment. Winning bidders will also be required to carry out maintenance services for five years, along with a free replacement warranty for all its spare parts. Under the guidelines for off-grid solar projects released by the MNRE in July 2020, the project will receive central financial assistance. The project must be completed within three months of the release of the work order, with an option to extend by three more months if there are delays.
