Vietnam’s Bamboo Capital Group plans 652 MW of wind projects

The Bamboo Capital Group, a multi-sector investment company in Vietnam, plans to develop 652 MW of wind energy projects during the 2020-22 period. The company has allocated around $603.45 million to this end. BCG Capital, a subsidiary of the group, is present in the solar power segment and has successfully implemented projects such as BCG-CME Long An 1 and 2 solar power plants in Long An with a capacity of 140 MW and the Phu My solar power plant with a capacity of 330 MW. The company plans to purchase 900 MW of solar and wind energy plants to become one of the biggest renewable energy developers in Vietnam.
