SECI invites bids for setting up a 100 MW solar plus storage project in Chhattisgarh

SECI has floated a tender inviting bid for developing a 100 MW solar project along with a 150 MWh battery energy storage system in Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh. The scope of work to be undertaken by the winning bidders will include the design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing and commissioning of the project, along with the battery storage system. The developers will also be required to provide comprehensive O&M services for the plant for a period of 10 years from the date of successful commissioning. As per the tender document, SECI has applied for financing from the World Bank and intends to use part of the proceeds for payments under the contracts that will be signed under this tender. The last date for bid submission is October 27, 2020.
