GSECL invites bids for setting up 210 MW of solar projects in Jamnagar

Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Limited (GSECL) has floated a tender for developing 210 MW of solar projects in Jamnagar, Gujarat. The project must be completed within 14 months from the issuance of the letter of award. The scope of work for the winning bidder will include the design, engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of the grid-connected solar power project, along with the evacuation of power. The developer will also be required to undertake operations and maintenance (O&M) for 10 years. As per the eligibility criteria for the tender, the bidder must have experience in the design, installation and commissioning of solar projects with a cumulative capacity of at least 138 MW on or after April 1, 2014. Of this, 124 MW of solar projects should be in India, and two solar projects must be of 40 MW each. The last date for the submission of bids is October 5, 2020.
