The Haryana government has floated a tender for setting up 3 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar projects with net metering facilities. These projects may or may not include a battery component. The scope of work will include the design, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of grid-connected rooftop solar plants with net metering facilities. The winning bidders will also be responsible for the installation of an associated battery bank, if included, at the project site. Post commissioning, the project developers will be required to provide comprehensive operations and maintenance services for the plant for a period of five years. The developers must complete the work on the project, including the inspection, supply, installation and commissioning of the project within three months from the date of the work order.
